How do you protect the yard from a cat climbing a tree and jumping the fence?Updated 6 months ago

We recommend when planning and measuring your layout to take trees into consideration. This system should be placed at least 6-12 inches in front of any trees so that they are excluded from the cat enclosure. This is generally more easily accomplished with a Freestanding Fence System where placement is more flexible. If a tree must be within the enclosed area, we recommend that the Purrfect Fence is at least 6 ft away from the tree (measured from the tip of the arm). Again, this is easier to accomplish with a Freestanding Fence system.

However, if a tree must be inside the enclosure area and is closer than 6 ft to the Purrfect Fence, there are different ways of preventing a tree from becoming an escape route for cats. The best method depends on the tree and the specific location within the enclosure. You are welcome to email us with pictures and a description of what you want to do or give us a call and we will do our best to help you.
