No special hardware or components are necessary for outfitting the majority of gates, but exactly how the gate is outfitted will depend on your specific gate's location, swing direction, and configuration.

There are 3 primary ways to handle the majority of gates:
1. Outfit Spring Loaded Arms/Brackets on the gate so it can swing INWARD





2. Outfit Spring Loaded Arms/Brackets on the gate so it can swing OUTWARD



3. Outfit the gate with a "header" so that no arms or brackets are necessary on the gate shown here: https://youtu.be/EAjt3MvXyi4
