Does the fence require planning permissions?Updated 2 months ago

Technically, planning permissions are a bit of a grey area but 99.9% of our customers do not encounter any issues or trouble with planning during or after installation of their Purrfect Fence.

Most councils have different rules, but typically 2m is the maximum height for a fence perimeter. Our system should be installed at a minimum height of about 1.8m, so it is technically under the 2m limit that most councils impose. Additionally, Purrfect Fence is also considered temporary fencing because it can be taken down or removed without making any structural changes to the landscape. Since it is temporary, it does not generally fall under the planning rules.

When in doubt, it is always best to check into your local restrictions regarding boundary height, etc. Restrictions can be tighter in conservation areas or AOND (areas of outstanding natural beauty). Most local governments should provide this information on their websites.
